Join us at Naval Station Great Lakes on Wed., May 8 at 7 pm for Operation MWR.
Show will be at Ross Theater, B110 and doors open at 6 pm.

This initiative aims to offer service members and their families a recreational and morale-boosting platform, fostering participant readiness and resilience while acknowledging and honoring their service and sacrifices. Operation MWR is dedicated to building vibrant communities, enhancing resiliency, and supporting fun across all installations. 

Event Eligibility 

Patrons with valid DoD credentials and base access and are eligible to attend this event. Installation guest escort policies apply. Seats will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

Cameras

No professional cameras, video recording devices or audio recorders are allowed.

Cashless Transactions

Ross Theater is a fully cashless venue for food, beverage, and merchandise purchases. Though cash will not be accepted, we do accept most credit/debit cards. However, Apple Pay and Tap To Pay functions will not be available.

Outside Food & Beverage

Outside food or beverages are not permitted inside the theater. Concessions will be available for purchase on site.

Bag Policy

Patrons will be able to enter the theater with a small purse or personal bag up to 10”x6”x2”. No backpacks or other bags will be allowed. Exceptions for guests with required medical equipment will be provided. All bags are subject to search.

Parking

Parking for the event is available around Ross Field and in Parking Lot 1A, located to the east of Ross Theater. The parking lot behind Ross Theater will be secured. Additionally, parking in the residential area behind Ross Theater (Squirrel Hollow) is not authorized.

Accessibility

Accessible parking will be available at designated parking spaces near the theater. Accessible seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis and is limited. Please note, some seating areas do require the ability to go up and down stairs.

Lost and Found

If you have a lost item during the event, please reach out to an MWR Staff Member during the event. To inquire about a lost item after the event, please email grlkmwrrecreation@us.navy.mil and include a description of the items as well as contact information. Unclaimed items will be disposed of after (3) days.
